I tried using the "hat" (the joystick on top of the joystick), but the hat isn't really a joystick (two axes with a range of motion), it's more of a d-pad (8 buttons: up, down, left, right, and 4 diagonals). I don't think there is a good binding for it, for the joystick. I did not create bindings for the controller's right joystick (used to look around your surroundings in-game).Some other, miscellaneous notes about binding things: Move the lever up, away from yourself.Īfter you've done all of that, click the Save All button in xbox360ce to save your settings. Move the slider back to the middle of its allowed range of motion.Move the slider to the middle of its allowed range of motion. The only other "odd" binding is for binding the throttle to the "slider" that sits between you and the stick (I don't know what to call it): I did half because I found some random article about Ace Combat 7 settings for joysticks which suggested that. To be honest, I don't know the difference between "half" axis and "full" axis. For the right Trigger, select Axes > Half > HAxis 6. For the left Trigger, select Axes > Inverted Half > IHAxis 6 ( like this). You only need to go one direction, forward or backward.
